F.A.C.T.S. GUEST - Minck Oosterveer
Present in : 2009

Minck Oosterveer (19/07/1961) graduated as an art teacher. Despite growing up with European comic books, he soon became more interested in American comics. Oosterveer's work is heavily influenced by Milton Caniff, Alex Raymond and Will Eisner. Having done some work for studio Peter de Raaf on productions like 'Tom & Jerry', 'Sesamstraat' and 'Paddington', Minck started on 'Claudia Brücken' with Willem Ritstier. They also worked together on a daily newspaper comic 'Jack Pott', 'Zodiak' and 'Rick Rolluik'.

In 2002 Oosterveer and Ritstier started a new comic series entitled 'Nicky Saxx', followed in 2007 by 'Trunk'. Minck also spearheads the second art team for the success-comic by Don Lawrence, "Storm".

In Augustus 2008 Minck made his debut in US-comics via BOOM!-studios with “Zombie Tales #4: Zaambi", written by Chris Morgan. After this test Minck started on a new series, written by Mark Waid, named "The Unknown”.

Guests appear subject to work commitments and good health. Their presence at F.A.C.T.S. can thus, sadly enough, be cancelled at any moment.
