The series wrapped its fourth season at CBS in 2021 and is currently in its sixth season on Paramount +.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to joining the CBS family, Boreanaz was seen for 12 seasons on FOX\u2019s \u201cBones.\u201d During his time on the series, Boreanaz also served as a producer and director, directing the series finale, the 100th and 200th episodes and multiple cliffhanger season finales throughout the years. In May of 2014&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__http:\/TVGuide.com__;!!FBl7RhjNdtJEi0k!p3IxUddQK2u6iQxQEBDHposFwNi4ee0cWWbMBpx0IVWnTbbX9pyhX_lDwMJDaI0nsuUAllg2tILHQNi1mbr_9rqS5XMvldyWX1E$\">TVGuide.com<\/a>exclaimed that the season nine finale was \u201can explosive, edge-of-your-seat firefight (excellently directed by series star David Boreanaz).\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boreanaz was exposed to the TV business at a young age, as the son of a veteran weather forecaster for WPVI in Philadelphia. After graduating from Ithaca College, he moved to Los Angeles to try his luck in Hollywood. He got his first break with a guest spot on \u201cMarried with Children,\u201d as the biker boyfriend of Christina Applegate\u2019s \u2018Kelly Bundy.\u2019&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While relatively new to acting when he landed a guest-starring role on \u201cBuffy the Vampire Slayer,\u201d which vaulted Boreanaz to stardom as the mysterious and tortured \u201cAngel\u201d on the series. He then continued the role in his own series, \u201cAngel.\u201d It was during his time on \u201cAngel\u201d that Boreanaz made his directing debut. Boreanaz\u2019s other past television credits include the ensemble drama \u201cFull Circle,\u201d which was screenwriter\/playwright Neil LaBute\u2019s television debut, and appearances on \u201cFamily Guy,\u201d \u201cAmerican Dad!\u201d and a \u201cBones\u201d and \u201cSleepy Hollow\u201d crossover event.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the big screen, Boreanaz\u2019s credits include The Mighty Macs opposite Carla Gugino, Officer Down, Suffering Man\u2019s Charity, These Girls which premiered at the 2005 Toronto Film Festival, Valentine, The Crow: Wicked Prayer opposite Dennis Hopper, The Hard Easy opposite Bruce Dern and Vera Farmiga, Mr. Fix It and I\u2019m with Lucy. He also lent his voice to the role of \u201cHal Jordan\u201d (aka \u201cThe Green Lantern\u201d) for the animated feature Justice League: The New Frontier.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On stage, Boreanaz starred in the Off-Broadway production of \u201cSpalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell.\u201d He has performed at the Ensemble Theater in \u201cHat Full of Rain\u201d; at the Gardner Stage in \u201cItalian-American Reconciliation\u201d and \u201cFool for Love\u201d; and in \u201cCowboy Mouth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional directing credits includes an episode of \u201cThe Finder.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An avid hockey player, Boreanaz resides in Los Angeles with his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>David Boreanaz will be joining the FACTS line-up on November 2-3 in Flanders Expo Ghent.
