The film released in February 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most recently, Wood can be seen in Showtime\u2019s hit series&nbsp;<strong>YELLOWJACKETS<\/strong>&nbsp;as Christina Ricci\u2019s love interest, Citizen Detective Walter Tattersall. He also also recently appeared in Boots Riley\u2019s Amazon series&nbsp;<strong>I\u2019M A VIRGO<\/strong>&nbsp;and the AppleTV+ comedy series&nbsp;<strong>THE AFTERPARTY&nbsp;<\/strong>opposite Sam Richardson, Tiffany Haddish, and Zoe Chao. Other TV credits includeleading the FX comedy series&nbsp;<strong>WILFRED<\/strong> and BBC\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>DIRK GENTLY\u2019S HOLISTIC DETECTIVE AGENCY.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wood recently wrapped production on&nbsp;<strong>BOOKWORM<\/strong>, a family adventure-comedy directed by Ant Timpson. The film follows 12-year-old Mildred\u2019s life as it\u2019s turned upside down when her mother lands in hospital and estranged, American magician father, Strawn Wise (Wood), comes to look after her.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most notably, Wood starred as the beloved hobbit Frodo Baggins in the iconic trilogy of films&nbsp;<strong>THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>THE TWO TOWERS<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>THE RETURN OF THE KING,<\/strong>&nbsp;based on J.R.R. Tolkien&#8217;s&nbsp;<strong>THE LORD OF THE RINGS<\/strong>, and directed by Peter Jackson.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wood also has extensive experience in voice over work, having lent his voice to notable films such as George Miller&#8217;s&nbsp;<strong>HAPPY FEET<\/strong> and&nbsp;the Tim Burton-produced animated feature <strong>9<\/strong><em>.&nbsp;<\/em>Additional projects include the television series <strong>OVER THE GARDEN WALL<\/strong> and&nbsp;<strong>STAR WARS RESISTANCE<\/strong><em>.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Elijah Wood will join the FACTS line-up on Saturday, April 5th and Sunday, April 6th, 2025, in Flanders Expo Ghent.
