Actress, producer and TV director Shannen Doherty is probably best known as Prue Halliwell in the popular witchcraft series Charmed<\/strong>, in which she starred from 1998 until 2001. She also had a key role in the famous teen series Beverly Hills, 90210<\/strong>, in which she played Brenda Walsh. Besides those two hallmark series, Shannen Doherty has been seen shining in many other TV and movie productions.<\/p>\n

Prue Halliwell \u2013 Shannen Doherty\u2019s role \u2013 is one of the three original witch sisters in the late 90\u2019s \/ early 2000\u2019s series Charmed<\/em>. Shannen Doherty left the show after season 3, but was one of the reasons that Charmed<\/em> became an instant hit, together with Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs. Doherty even directed a few episodes in seasons 2 and 3. The sheer number of reruns of Charmed<\/em> on Belgian and international television confirms the popularity and quality of the show.<\/p>\n

As Brenda Walsh, Shannen Doherty was the female lead in the famous teen series Beverly Hills, 90210<\/em>. She left after 4 seasons, but there is no doubt that she was a fan favourite. Just recently, it has been announced that Beverly Hills, 90210<\/em> will return with the original cast for a new season. The movie business also had the pleasure of welcoming the talents of Shannen Doherty, in films like Heathers, Mallrats, Obsessed,<\/em>Jailbreakers <\/em>and many more.<\/p>\n

Shannen Doherty started her career as a child star in the early 80\u2019s, with roles in Little House on the Prairie<\/em> and Our House<\/em>. She has had her own reality show, was an excellent presenter, shined as a model, and survived cancer. There is no doubt that Shannen Doherty is a strong woman with an equally strong personality.<\/p>\n
