Michael Ironside is a Canadian actor, voice actor, and filmmaker, born on February 12, 1950. He is known for his powerful voice and intense portrayals of often tough or sinister characters. Ironside broke through with his role in Scanners (1981) and subsequently became a recognizable face in numerous films and series, including Top Gun (1986), Total Recall (1990), and Starship Troopers (1997), where he played the iconic Lieutenant Jean Rasczak.
