Kevin Eastman is an American comic book artist, writer, and publisher, best known as the co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) with Peter Laird. In 1984, they launched the very first TMNT comic from a small, independent project, which grew into a global phenomenon featuring cartoons, films, toys, and merchandise. Eastman’s gritty, distinctive drawing style laid the foundation for the franchise’s dark and humorous tone.
