SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Summing up the career of British actor Ben Barnes is taking a trip down fantasy and sci-fi lane, all the way back to 2008. That’s when he had his international breakthrough as the dreamy and courageous Prince Caspian in the The Chronicles of Narnia franchise.

That success lead to a whole host of interesting and memorable roles. In 2014, he got the main role of Tom Ward in Warner Bros.’ action fantasy movie Seventh Son, next to Jeff Bridges, Alicia Vikander and Kit Harington. In 2015, he got raving reviews for his portrayal of soldier Sam Adams in the History Channel miniseries Sons of Liberty, dramatizing the early American Revolution events in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2016, he had a main role in HBO’s acclaimed sci-fi series Westworld, in which he portrayed the arrogant villain Logan Delos. The year after, the world saw him shine as Billy Russo in Marvel’s The Punisher on Netflix, next to Jon Bernthal.

He gained further international applause with his performance as General Aleksander Kirigan / The Darkling in Netflix’ fantasy series Shadow and Bone, from 2021 to 2023, which further expanded his big fan club.

Think that’s impressive already? That’s just a small excerpt from his resume. He also portrayed Dorian Gray in the eponymous 2009 movie, Can be seen in Marnie Dicken’s BBC limited series Gold Digger, the indie films Jackie and Ryan next to Katherine Heigl and God Only Knows, he was a young Jeremy Irons in The Words, graced the screen in The Big Wedding and in the quirky comedy Killing Bono. Also impressive: he joined the cast of the 2023 film The Critic, along with Ian McKellen, Gemma Arterton, and ex FACTS guest Alfred Enoch. In other words: his versatility knows no bounds.

Ben Barnes will be available at FACTS on April 5-6, 2025, in Flanders Expo Ghent. You can meet him in photoshoots, autograph sessions, and big Q&A shows on both days.
